QOM

Qom was one of the southern cities of Tehran province decades ago, but became an independent province due to population growth and religious significance. This city was important in the past due to its location on the Silk Road and today it is very important because of the location of the Qom Seminary which is the most important center of religious science in the country. This city is also considered an important pilgrimage because of the grave of Hazrat Fatima Masoumeh (AS), the daughter of Imam Kadhim (AS) and the sister of Imam Reza (AS). Ghomrood castle is an old monarchy belonging to the Parthian dynasty, located around Qomrood and in the northern part of the White Mountain where you can visit. You can also visit Mount khezr Nabi, Houz Sultan salt lake, Eshgh Ali bath, Mulla Sadra house and beautiful traditional Qom market.
